My “young bucks” in the making Am I too “starstruck” to talk to The Apprentice guest?
Mar 03

I hate exercise…I get bored, I feel like it’s a waste of time; I used to look for a jogging buddy, but quickly realized we have nothing to talk about. Then I found a way to LOVE exercise, look forward to it every day, not need to look for a buddy, and do this in any weather, rain or snow - you won’t stop me! Watch the video above to learn how I get all my great ideas while getting LOTS of oxygen at the same time! :)

Hi Milana: Excellent! There is nothing more important than taking care of the only body we have - and making great use of the time. I’m always thinking about my clients and my business on my walks - I walk 3 times a day and Yes, I do come home with a great feeling. Your tools are a perfect fit. K.

Hmmm… I thought I was the only “crazy” person out there walking and talking into an electronic device. I like it though how you don’t download your recordings on to your computer but rather write down what you recorded right away. I have by now hundreds of recordings - many of them I have no idea of what they are - but I do know that they were valuable ideas and they are saved (I put them on a disc as well to back them up). Every week I listen/implement 1 to 5 of my recordings (unfortunately i generate about 10 to 30 short recordings per week)

    Great post!

LOL, E.G. Yes, it could have been worse…We could be walking around talking into an empty hand :) I just pretend I am a doctor or a reporter, and get over this awkward moment. And yes, getting the ideas on paper within a week is very important; otherwise, I forget what I was talking about, how I came up with it, and why I recorded it…plus, after about 100 recordings you start getting overwhelmed and might forget the whole thing.

These are good ideas, and I’d like to add one which may appeal to others - language study. I really need to go to the additional effort to load my language CD’s onto an IPOD (which I need to decide upon and BUY ALREADY!) A CD player is such large and awkward thing. Plus it makes you look so “dated” to the younger set.

I really feel like the exercise isn’t so boring if I can multi-task like this.

Thanks Milana for giving the model number of the Olympus recorder. That saves some shopping time and analysis!
