In January, 2008 I published a document called “New Coaching Manifesto: The Whole Truth About
Coaching Business.”
The problem is, I didn’t tell the whole truth…
Today, I am:
“New Coaching Manifesto: Revisited!”
http://www.newcoachingmanifesto.com/revisited.pdf
Inside I am addressing some of the most sensitive and “taboo” issues in coaching I’ve ever discussed.
Can you handle it?

Dear Milana,
I really enjoy all of your emails, especially the new coaching manifesto revisted. Many good points were made, however one essential point was surprisingly missing. AUTHENTICITY!! Being firmly grounded in who you are and what you naturally bring to the world allows you to naturally attract clients and abundant wealth because you are consistently in your “good space” - where you radiate, flow and dance! I believe every coach should be in that space before they coach their clients.
I am dedicated to developing global citizens - that is to say I help my global clients get completely aligned with their AUTHENTIC life purpose/ soul’s calling so that they can make their unique mark in the world. I have a book and website. ALL of my clients come to me through these two sources. I have a very high conversion rate. I am an American, living in Europe, and coach almost all of my clients by phone. It is a wonderful business model and fits well with having a family! My clients tell me that it is rare to find someone who is passionate about what they do, does it very well and completely lives their philosophy. That is a very honorable compliment. Clients know they benefit if their coach has gone through the process of finding him/herself and has already achieved their dreams on their terms….hence, “walking the talk”.
I think the real problem is that many coaches truly are not grounded with a clear inner knowing about what they are really here to do. This self-knowledge is not taught in schools and usually it is simply by learning the lessons of life or having a great coach or mentor that brings a person to this authentic place. I am very lucky to have had an excellent coach who refined my development and got me anchored in what I truly bring to the world. I have an excellent program that I do with my clients, but there are not many programs out there that truly are able to produce authentic answers for clients. That leaves many coaches still floundering on the big questions of “who am I” and “what am I hear to do”. As you know, when you have these answers, the universe provides the “how”.
In terms of creating passive income products, I completely agree that this is a good idea, however for some different reasons you put forth. I believe if you know your purpose and the message that you want the world to hear, then it is your responsibility to share your message in an authentic way with as many people as possible - the masses! (Coming from this place is much more authentic than producing any such product to simply make money.) This is how you create influence and make your unique impact as a global citizen. When information products are created with the primary authentic intent to serve humanity, as well as to make money and build credibility, then abundance will come your way because the intent is genuine. You will naturally attract those who need and want to hear your message. Of course, I know you know this. I just want you to mention that to your readers
I wish you abundant continued success and look forward to reading more from you.
Best wishes,
Elizabeth Kruempelmann

Hi Milana,
I am new to your website and services but I am loving all the information and insights you put forth. No need to apologize for your “laser-like” matter-of-fact approach–it is a breath of fresh air! I nearly got snookered into starting out with one-on-one coaching until I read your articles and book and saw the light.
Elizabeth mentioned authenticity. I listened to another coaching mentor’s teleseminars involving beginning and experienced practitioners, and it was downright painful to hear: many of them did not know what they were doing or why, many obviously did not believe in themselves. There was such a “disconnect” between what they believed/disbelieved about themselves and what they were trying (desperately) to convince their clients that it was apparent to a newbie like myself why they were not successful.
I think that people who go into coaching as a profession are givers: they want to help others and give of their own experiences and time in order to help people enjoy happier and more fulfilling lives. More often than not, they leap before they look and end up getting squashed–discouraged and disappointed. Anyone who truly desires to be a coach deserves the help and support of the coaching community. Cutting-edge and bluntly honest information about the coaching business is what we need more of, not less. Keep up trucking, Milana!
